Cleveland Cavaliers New Coach

It is being reported by numerous sources that the Cleveland Cavaliers landed themselves a new coach. After reportedly interviewing Phil Jackson, Flip Saunders and Eric Musselman for the coaching job, the Cavs have reportedly agreed to hire Pacers assistant coach Mike Brown. Brown has been the top assistant coach for Rick Carlisle and the Indiana Pacers for the last two years. Brown was also part of the San Antonio Spurs coaching staff for the previous three seasons before joining the Pacers. Brown's specialty is as a defensive minded coach. That attitude will be a welcome addition to the Cavs, who allowed 96.5 points a game on defense. Repotedly Brown and the Cavs agreed on a 4 year, $9 million deal. His formal introduction as coach is expected to happen over the next few days.
